Quick Answers
What is Yamuna Body Rolling?
Yamuna Body Rolling (pronounced yuh-muh-nuh) is a self-maintenance healing system by Yamuna Zake (30+ years). It uses experiential anatomy to help you align structurally, resolve pain patterns, prevent injury, and maintain proper function. With correct education and consistent practice, results come faster—remember: a ball is just a ball without the right education.
What happens in a Yamuna class?
In a group class, your practitioner will guide you through your own bodywork session. Using your body weight, breath, and a 6–10 inch air-filled ball, you’ll learn routines and techniques to align your body, break down repetitive motion injuries, and release pain patterns. This goes far beyond stretching or foam rolling—it creates true structural alignment, muscle lengthening, and space in your joints. You’ll leave feeling lighter, freer, taller, and more mobile.
How do I know which class to attend?
All classes at Body Balance Studios are small-group to ensure personalized care. Upon arrival, Kim and the practitioners assess participants’ needs and tailor routines so every student receives attention for their goals or injuries.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full session rate.
